VISR

Privacy Policy

Effective October 24, 2026.

VISR is a native port of Halo: Combat Evolved for Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and no tracking. We do not sell or share data with anyone.

What VISR collects

Release builds collect nothing.

Test builds (pre-release builds given to testers) send two kinds of diagnostic data to the developer through Apple's CloudKit service:

These reports contain no names, contacts, messages, location, saved games or other personal content. Apple's CloudKit attaches a random identifier to each upload that is unique to VISR and not your Apple Account; we do not use it to identify anyone, and we remove it when we process the reports. Sharing this data is a condition of testing; leaving the beta stops it.

Data that stays with you

Network play

When you play online or on a local network, other players and the host can see your device's network address, as with any online game. Online games are found through public matchmaking servers run by the community, which see the address of a game's host.

Retention

Raw reports are deleted within 30 days of upload. Combined, anonymous statistics derived from them (for example, average frame times for a device model) may be kept to improve device settings.

Children

VISR is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes and contact
